I have placed the iso labelled game. Note: You can use Disk Explorer to copy files and folders to/from images (but not to delete them or DOSBox will consider the images corrupted Read the aforementioned link for more info). You have to specify that it is a CD-ROM with the '-t' parameter. When I first load DOSBox for PSP it gives me the following: Z:mount c ms0:/dosbox Drive C is mounted as local directory ms0:/dosbox/ Z:c: C:cd doscore C:DOSCORE>dn.com. A utility to mount hard disk and optical disc images in DOSBox. remember to remove the mount CD line in dosbox conf too. The mistake most of you make is to mount the CD-ROM drive as HDD. just copy all the files in the CD and paste in a folder like C:\Redguard\CD, then edit the system.ini entry animation_drive accordingly (in my case, animation_drive=C:\Redguard\CD). LAST EDIT: I managed to make it work without the CD in the virtual drive. thats my confuguration on dosbox:ĮDIT 2: I just fount setsound.exe in redguard/sound folder and opened it with dosbox, that should do the trickĮDIT 3: I had to open the option panel again to make it work (and re-set animation_drive=D:\). I thought I didnt need to configure audio drivers there if I run the game with dosbox. Works like a charm for me, no need to tweak the configuration file other than mounting D: as the CDROM, but this is a software protection, not a Dosbox issue. I will try to read previous posts and find a solution myselfĮDIT: I noticed I can't' configure the audio drivers in the options panel found on the playdisk, no configuration works (additionally, every time i open the options panel I must edit the system.ini file because it changes the cd drive, but that's normal). Testing with an ISO image made from my original CD both on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04. Thank you, now it works! I can play fine, but with no audio.
